Lifetime Warranty

Our Warranty Promise at The Auto Shop of Chapin

When you get your vehicle repaired at The Auto Shop of Chapin, we stand behind our work for as long as you own your car. We’re dedicated to giving you top-notch service and repairs at a fair price, and we back it all up with some of the strongest warranties around.

Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty

Most of the repairs we handle come with a lifetime warranty — yep, for as long as you own your ride. We believe that when you pay for a repair, you shouldn’t have to pay for it again. While most shops will only cover repairs for 12–24 months, we’re so confident in the quality of our parts and the skills of our expert techs that we back our work for life. If a part we installed ever fails, just bring your vehicle back to us, toss us the keys, and we’ll handle the rest — no cost to you. We’re pretty sure you won’t find a stronger warranty anywhere else.

Standard Warranty

Now and then, certain repairs aren’t eligible for a lifetime warranty. When that happens, we still stand behind the work with a rock-solid 3-year/36,000-mile parts and labor warranty. No hoops to jump through, just straightforward coverage you can count on.

Nationwide Warranty

Traveling or moving? No worries — we’ve got your back with our 3-year/36,000-mile Nationwide Warranty. This covers most of the repairs we’ve performed, even when you’re far from home. Just a heads up: new or remanufactured engines and transmissions usually come with their own separate warranties, which can sometimes outlast ours.

What You Should Know (The Fine Print)

Our Lifetime Warranty applies to most repairs but not everything. Repairs involving used parts, engines, or transmissions aren’t covered under our lifetime or standard warranties. Wear-and-tear items like brakes, tires, belts, and wiper blades are covered for 3 years/36,000 miles. Fluids, filters, and maintenance items are only covered up to their regular service life.

We reserve the right to void or limit any warranty if there’s evidence of abuse, neglect, modification, or intentional damage. If your car’s sold or transferred, the warranty ends. Also, our warranty only applies to parts and repairs we completed — we can’t be responsible for damage to parts we didn’t work on. Some extra maintenance requirements may apply to keep your warranty active. We also reserve the right to end the warranty by posting notice in the shop.
